This Privacy Policy explains how applications published by Aniket Kulkarni under WeTalkEverything (“Apps,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handle information.

This policy applies to NudgeIt for macOS and to other WeTalkEverything applications that link to this policy, unless a particular application provides a separate privacy policy.

 

Privacy Summary

We design our Apps to collect as little information as reasonably possible.

For NudgeIt, we do not collect, store, transmit, sell, rent, or share personal information or user activity data. NudgeIt does not require an account and does not include advertising, behavioral tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs.

Future WeTalkEverything Apps may provide different features. Any material differences in their data practices will be disclosed in an app-specific section of this policy and, where applicable, in the privacy information provided on the relevant App Store or distribution page.

 

Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to applications that identify WeTalkEverything or Aniket Kulkarni as the developer and link to this page.

This policy does not govern information independently processed by Apple, Google, Microsoft, Wix, an application marketplace, an operating-system provider, or another third party under that party’s own privacy policy.

 

NudgeIt for macOS

NudgeIt is a lightweight macOS productivity utility designed to help keep a Mac awake when requested by the user.

 

Information Collected by NudgeIt

NudgeIt does not collect or transmit:

  • Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or contact details

  • Account credentials or user identifiers

  • Precise or approximate location

  • Contacts or calendar information

  • Photos, documents, messages, or other user files

  • Browsing history or search history

  • Screen contents

  • Keystrokes

  • Cursor activity or movement history

  • Application-usage history

  • Advertising identifiers

  • Payment or financial information

  • Health or fitness information

  • Other sensitive personal information

NudgeIt does not require registration or creation of a user account.

 

Local Operation and Preferences

NudgeIt’s core functionality operates locally on the user’s Mac.

App preferences and configuration settings may be stored locally on the device using standard macOS storage mechanisms. These preferences are not uploaded to WeTalkEverything-operated servers.

 

macOS Permissions

Depending on the macOS version and system configuration, macOS may display or request permissions associated with NudgeIt’s functionality.

Any permission granted to NudgeIt is used only to provide the user-requested keep-awake functionality.

NudgeIt does not use system permissions to:

  • Monitor personal activity

  • Capture screen contents

  • Record keystrokes

  • Access personal documents

  • Build a user profile

  • Track activity across other apps or websites

Permissions can be reviewed or revoked through System Settings > Privacy & Security on macOS.

 

Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

NudgeIt does not use:

  • Third-party advertising networks

  • Cross-app or cross-website tracking

  • Behavioral profiling

  • Third-party analytics SDKs

  • Independent crash-reporting SDKs

  • Marketing cookies

  • Advertising identifiers

NudgeIt does not sell or share personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties.

 

Network and Server Use

NudgeIt does not require a WeTalkEverything account or a WeTalkEverything-operated online service for its core functionality.

NudgeIt does not upload device activity, cursor activity, documents, screen contents, or application-usage information to our servers.

 

App Store and Platform Services

NudgeIt may be downloaded or purchased through the Apple App Store.

Apple independently processes information related to:

  • App downloads

  • Purchases and subscriptions

  • Refunds

  • Receipts

  • Apple ID account information

  • App Store analytics

  • Device diagnostics

Apple handles this information according to Apple’s own terms, privacy policy, and the user’s Apple account and device settings.

We do not receive or store full payment-card information.

NudgeIt does not send App Store analytics or device diagnostics to a separate WeTalkEverything analytics service.

 

Future and Other WeTalkEverything Apps

This policy may also apply to future WeTalkEverything Apps that link to it.

For each such App, we will disclose, where applicable:

  • The categories of information collected

  • The purpose for collecting or processing that information

  • Whether information is stored locally or transmitted

  • Whether third-party analytics, advertising, cloud, authentication, or support services are used

  • Whether information is shared with third parties

  • Available user controls and deletion options

An app-specific disclosure may be added to this page for each App.

Where an app-specific disclosure conflicts with a general statement in this policy, the app-specific disclosure will control for that App.

We will update this policy and the applicable marketplace privacy disclosures before or when an App’s data practices materially change.

 

Information You Voluntarily Provide

If you contact us for support, feedback, or another inquiry, you may voluntarily provide information such as:

  • Your name

  • Your email address

  • Device or operating-system details

  • Screenshots

  • Diagnostic information

  • The content of your message

We use this information only to:

  • Respond to your inquiry

  • Investigate or troubleshoot an issue

  • Improve the reliability of an App

  • Protect the security and integrity of our Apps

  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

Support information is not collected automatically through NudgeIt.

We do not use support correspondence for targeted advertising or behavioral profiling.

Please avoid sending sensitive personal information that is not necessary for us to assist you.

 

Data Sharing

For NudgeIt, there is no automatically collected personal information to share.

Information voluntarily provided through a support request may be disclosed only when reasonably necessary to:

  • Respond to or resolve the request

  • Work with a service provider supporting our communications or operations under appropriate confidentiality obligations

  • Comply with applicable law or a valid legal request

  • Protect our rights, users, or the safety of others

  • Complete a business transfer, if one occurs, subject to applicable law

We do not sell support-contact information or use it for targeted advertising.

 

Data Retention and Deletion

Because NudgeIt does not collect personal information through the App, we do not maintain NudgeIt user profiles or server-side activity histories requiring deletion.

Locally stored preferences can generally be removed by uninstalling NudgeIt and, where applicable, deleting its local preference data from the Mac.

Support correspondence may be retained only as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Respond to the inquiry

  • Maintain appropriate business records

  • Prevent abuse

  • Resolve disputes

  • Meet legal obligations

You may request deletion of support information by contacting us, subject to applicable legal or operational retention requirements.

 

Children’s Privacy

NudgeIt does not knowingly collect personal information from children or other users.

If a future WeTalkEverything App is directed to children or handles children’s information, we will provide appropriate app-specific disclosures and protections before release.

 

Security

We use data minimization and local processing where practical to reduce privacy and security risks.

However, no software, device, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users should keep their operating system and Apps updated and protect access to their devices.

 

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information we hold about you, including rights to request:

  • Access

  • Correction

  • Deletion

  • Restriction of processing

  • A copy of your information

Because NudgeIt does not collect personal information through the App, these rights will generally apply only to information you voluntarily provide, such as support correspondence.

We may need to verify a request before acting on it.

 

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in:

  • Our Apps

  • Our data practices

  • Legal requirements

  • Platform or App Store policies

Updates will be published on this page with a revised Last updated date.

Where changes are material, we will provide additional notice where reasonably appropriate or legally required.
